The bunkie is insulated and equipped with a diesel heater, making it suitable for stays throughout the year. It also has Wi-Fi, solar-powered electricity, running water, and a small dining area.

The accommodation is designed to keep things simple while giving guests a comfortable place to return to after spending time outdoors.

One of the main features of staying at Crimson Pines is the surrounding forest. The property sits on 40 acres of woodland with trails where guests can walk and explore.

Outside the bunkie, guests have a fire pit and a covered gazebo, providing space to enjoy meals, relax, or spend an evening around the fire. A BBQ is also available for outdoor cooking.

For those looking for a more unique outdoor experience, the property also has a nature shower. The outdoor shower uses cool groundwater and is surrounded by the natural setting of the property. A shared washroom with a warm-water shower and toilet is also available.

During warmer months, guests can spend their days exploring the trails, relaxing outside, and enjoying the fire pit in the evening. In the colder months, the surrounding forest takes on a different atmosphere, while the insulated bunkie and diesel heater provide a warm place to relax.

Winter guests should be prepared for changing weather and road conditions. Depending on conditions, vehicles may not be able to drive directly to the bunkie, and guests may need to walk a short distance through the snow.

The property uses well water, which is not filtered, so drinking water should be brought with you. Guests should also bring their own food, snacks, ice, bug spray, sunscreen, and other personal essentials.

The property has three other bunkies, so while guests have their own space, the property is not completely isolated. The washroom is shared with other guests.

Guests are also responsible for taking their garbage with them when they leave.
